Spence Saga
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Ron...
Few can bring the warmth... we can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love, than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents as our legacy from above,
to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.

Fighting over who gets to hold baby Asher who slept through the whole thing!

Proud Daddy!

Aunt Julie didn't mind holding him either!

Nana Low holding her great grandson! He sure likes to sleep.

Family Get Together for Mom's Birthday

What a sweet lady. We're so happy to celebrate her 77th birthday!

These 2 love to tease each other, so this is a rare moment where they're trying to be nice!
They still make a cute couple even after 4 kids!

Who's this guy with the scruffy beard? Guess he's tired of shaving!

Taking a picture of Julie taking a picture of Bryn and Nana Low!

Spring Moab Trip in the Motorhome

Bryn loves Baxter, not sure if Baxter loves Bryn!

Bryn loved the big Mallemute in the campground next to ours. She wasn't one bit afraid of it. Good thing it was a gentle dog that liked kids.

What a great shot under the arch. We heard one of the arches caved in. Hope it wasn't this one & especially when they were under it!

Great picture of the girls!

3 little munchkins looking out the front window!

What a fun trip we had. Joe & Julie rented a Motorhome & we stayed in a campground in Moab where we could walk to restaurants and shopping. That's my kind of camping!

Looking back to our Spring Moab Trip

Enough climbing! The girls know how to relax and strike a pose.

We went on a fun hike. The boys had enough of the wimpy trail and decided to scale the mountain. Julie and I were a little nervous, but guess they knew what they were doing!

Joe & Dad take a minute to talk about something. Watch out Joe, some of his weird ideas might rub off on you!

Jeremy's showing the boys how it's done. Lindsay was a little worried that she could be a newly married widow, but he made it down safe & sound.

Even the little sister had to get in on the act. We had to watch her like a hawk, she thought she could do anything the boys did.

Winter in October

The weatherman was right for once. Snow was in the forecast, but we didn't believe it until we got up this morning.

It was gorgeous, but a little too early for my liking!

Guess it's time to break out the skiis!

Lake Powell Trip

Jeremy & Taylor looking for treasure?

Baxter hanging out in the back of the boat with the skiis. He thought he was one of the gang.

Chelsey & the guys decided to get out of the boat and do some hiking.

Baxter was quite the trooper on this trip. He didn't get sick like he did on our last boating excursion, thank goodness!

Taylor & Jeremy getting ready to hit the water! We all got a little too much sun on our first lake trip out as you can tell by these two.

More Lake Powell Trip

One of the many caves in Forgotten Canyon.

It doesn't get better than this. Relaxing and reading a good book at Lake Powell!

Heading into one of the Canyons. Baxter seems to be enjoying himself!

Lindsay & Jeremy tubing on their first trip to Lake Powell together!

Chillin' in a cave in Forgotten Canyon. We had plenty of munchies on board!

New Grandbaby!

Jeremy & Lindsay, waiting for Junior to make his arrival!

7th Grandchild, but each one is just as special! We're so happy Jeremy finally gave up on the single life, found the love of his life and is embarking on this wonderful journey of fatherhood!

First Grandbaby for Michele! Is she in for some fun times ahead. There's something about that first grandchild.

Proud Grandpa Spence!

Grandpa Steenblik. The clock shows he's a half-hour old.

Lindsay & Jeremy's Newest Addition!

A Little Bundle of Joy! Although he weighed a little more than they thought he would!

Proud Papa & Mama!

They don't get cuter than this! Weighing in at 8 lb. 6 oz., he made his appearance on Oct. 9 at 11:30 a.m. It's a little early to tell who he looks like, but we think he has Jeremy's ears and lips and Lindsay's eyes and nose.

Game against Alta on a cold Autumn Day!

Our oldest grandson trying to stay warm in 45 degree weather
in the middle of October.

We love to watch our grandson play football.

Waiting for the next play!
Watching from the sideline!

He played great, but they lost to the #1 team by 1 point.
He intercepted a pass and had some great tackles.
