Spence Saga
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Ron...
Few can bring the warmth... we can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love, than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents as our legacy from above,
to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.
--We love you, love your grandkids

Gobble, Gobble

Asked everyone to stop eating for a minute
for a picture, but Ron obviously didn't want to!

This is what we all wanted to do after
stuffing ourselves!

Love Logan looking at everyone else!

Love Jackson's cute hat that Chelsey
crocheted.  Such a darling family!

Julie's family ate with Joe's family but came
down for dessert.  Berkley & Bryn stayed at
Grandma CC's - much to Chloe's dismay!

Another family picture with Pap Pap in it!

Picture of Grandma Low with her daughter and two granddaughters

This was taken a couple of weeks before.
Bryn and Asher watching a 3D movie together

One of Asher's favorite things - a big red sucker
He's probably sad that he had to stop to take a picture!

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday
where we give thanks for all our blessings.
I'm especially thankful for family.
There's nothing more important to me and
I'm so happy when we can all be together.
I'm grateful every year that my mother
and Ron's dad are still with us.
I'm thankful that we're always there for
each other through thick and thin,
supporting and loving one another.  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Twick or Tweat

Our first activity for Halloween was Mason's football game.  Little Leroy was there and at first Asher ignored him, but we talked him into giving him a hug (see picture below).  Unfortunately Mason's team lost, but they still made playoffs.  So football isn't over yet!

Time for a few pictures after the game

Hey Asher - look at the camera!

Asher loves the slide in their backyard

He's not too excited about his costume yet - but later - when he found out he'd get treats for being the cutest bumblebee around - he didn't mind it at all!
Helping give out treats to the trick-or-treaters -
of course he snuck a few for himself!

We went trick-or-treating to Nana Low's care center.  Since the weather wasn't very nice (pouring down rain), this was the perfect place.  The older people were darling with Asher and got a kick out of his costume.
At first he was scared to go up to this
scary witch, until he saw the treat bowl!

Asher learned how to say Trick-or-Treat (more like twick-or-tweat) pretty well.  After he got his treat, we'd say now what do you say.  Most of the time, he'd say "Thank You," but once in awhile he'd say "More" which usually caused him to get a 2nd treat!

Stopping to analyze his treat - I think he approves of it
Jeremy got a big kick out of Asher
Trick-or-Treating

Logan, Chloe and Jackson caught up with us.  Don't think Jackson knows what's going on this year - but just wait until next year!
Cute little Risher family

A FRIGHTFULLY GOOD TIME

One of our favorite things to do this
time of year is to go to
FRIGHTMARES at Lagoon!

These four had a great time together.
Logan looks especially scary with his missing teeth!
When I asked Bryn what her favorite ride
 was - it was definitely
The LadyBug.
Chloe & Bryn
rode this ride over and over!

ASHER
loved this ride too - although it's hard to
 get him to show it!

There's the big smile on Asher's face
we've been waiting for!

WHEE!!!

~Takes his boat driving quite seriously~

Mason & Logan were good to hang out with Asher
for awhile - they're both dare devils though and went on
rides like Wicked and Collosus later on!

Asher looks pretty serious driving
this car, but he loved it!

Mason looks like he's enjoying this ride!

Asher didn't quite know what to make of these
witches but it made for a good picture!

Such good buds!

We hit the splash park on the way out
Asher could have spent the
WHOLE TIME HERE!

He loves anything that has to do with water!

~Bryn got a little wet too~

Mason decided to stay dry
but he had fun watching Asher & Bryn get wet

This was probably one of our funnest
 years at Lagoon.....
The weather was perfect,
the kids loved hanging out
with each other, and no one wanted
it to end!
Even Baby Jackson was content all day!

We brought our own food and had a picnic
at the pavillion.  Asher especially loved the
Choo Choo Train and seeing all the animals.

I don't know why I get such a kick out of
 going to Lagoon.
It's seriously the highlight of my year.
I think I got my love of Lagoon from my
Dad

who also looked forward to going every year.
I always think about him when I'm there.

Bryn keeps asking me when we can go again -
and I tell her NEXT YEAR!
Then she lets out a big sigh!
She said Lagoon is her favorite place now,
so I might have started something!

HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!!!

ASHER'S TWO YEAR OLD BIRTHDAY PARTY

There's nothing funner than celebrating a birthday
with a Terrific Two Year Old!

Asher loved his Cars Birthday Cake

Asher with his Auntie Julie and Cousin Bryn

These two could spend every waking moment together

Bryn trying to get Asher to face the camera

Asher loved his gifts but wanted to stop
and play with each one

Birthday Cake Time

Getting ready to blow out the candles

The girls are puckering up to help him

Jeremy with his good buddies - Jake and Brent

The kids loved playing with his toys as much as he did

He's in car heaven about right now

Loves his blow up trampoline

He was so busy playing with his toys, he didn't take the time
to eat his cake until later, so we let him have at it!

He makes it look sooooo yummy!

Think he got more on him than in him

So glad so many people love and care about Asher and
could help celebrate his special day in a big way!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHER
