Spence Saga
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Ron...
Few can bring the warmth... we can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love, than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents as our legacy from above,
to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAUGHTER!!!

Can't believe 34 years ago I gave birth to this cute girl.
In those days, there weren't any fancy ultra sounds
or ways to know the sex of the baby,
but my doctor said he was 95% correct
in calculating if it was a girl or boy.
So a few weeks before the delivery,
he said he was sure it was a boy.
I was ready for my 2nd boy with everything in blue -
nursery, clothes and all!
Then I heard him say,
well, what do you know, I'm wrong this time!
I couldn't believe it when he said
it was a girl!!!
So she wore a lot of blue until the gifts started coming in
ALL IN PINK!!!!
Here's some fun pictures of Julie
that definitely shows her personality

Cute Family

Always Supportive of her Kid's Activities

I'm so grateful to have a daughter who's so
loving, caring, funny,
and extremely full of it.
She has always been a little social butterfly.
Even as a little girl, she would wander off to
talk to strangers at parades, restaurants, etc.
We had to talk to her a lot about stranger danger!
She's still so friendly and outgoing and everyone is
drawn to her. She has so many friends, it's hard for her
to find time for all of them. But somehow she is able
to balance everything with all her family,
church, school, and sports activities.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIE!!!
AND THANKS FOR BEING SUCH A
GREAT DAUGHTER AND
GIVING US SO MUCH JOY!!!

Fall is in the Air

Love the FALL COLORS
especially with a MOOSE
in the middle of it!

Our favorite Fall pastime is
watching our grandsons play
football. This is ETHAN'S
first year and it's been
fun watching him develop
his football skills.

Therese, Ethan, and Chad
Ethan's getting pretty tall
for a 10 year old!

Ethan's in the middle - #98
Definitely one of the tallest
Now he just needs to get
a little tougher!
Cute little Bryn is trying to buy a treat
at the concession stand but
nobody can see her -
poor little thing.
Finally her mom helped her get noticed!

After Chan's game -
they're undefeated
in fact, no other team has
even scored on them!

~More wildlife and fall colors~

~Reflection of sunset on the lake~

~Rainbow from our front yard~

Even though we know winter is coming,
we need to appreciate
every season and what it has to offer.
Life would be pretty boring if we had warm, sunny weather
all year round -
OR WOULD IT?!!?

HOME SHOW

Yea!!!We survived 10 days of the Home Show.
When I saw the other homes,
I was worried because
ours was the smallest and least
expensive of all of them.
However, many people commented
that ours seemed so cozy and liveable.
So that made me feel better.
About 800 people went through.
It especially made us feel good
that our builder got a lot
of business from it.

Ours was the 2nd Home
out of 8 homes.
I was pretty tickled but
surprised that I
won the decorating award.
Instead of plaques, they
give out blue ribbons.

Got the garage done just in time.

One day Bryn went in the loft.
We said what are you doing and
she said oh, nothing.
So we said don't mess
anything up because
alot of people are coming
to see the cabin.
After it was over, we
walked upstairs to turn
off lights and this is what
we saw. She lined up the chairs
to look like a choo choo train I guess.
Many, many people came
through and saw it like this.
They probably wondered how in the world
I won the decorating award!
NEW DECORATING STYLE!

At least during the day our builder took over
so we got to leave and we ate out a lot -
especially since I couldn't cook
and mess up the kitchen. BooHoo!

In front of the La Sabre Cafe.

The trip wouldn't be complete
without the 4 wheeling!

I thought they were watching cartoons
but I went into my room and saw
them sound asleep!
The weather was perfect for a fun day
of boating. Ron and I finally had good
enough water to waterski.

The kids had so much fun tubing.
Bryn was a dare devil and kept
putting her thumb up to go faster.

They love playing on the beach!

Fun trip but so glad the home show is over!!!
NOW WE CAN HAVE OUR CABIN BACK!
