Spence Saga
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Ron...
Few can bring the warmth... we can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love, than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents as our legacy from above,
to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.

Another Busy December

Every year, I have the best intentions to prepare early, slow things down, and enjoy the beauty of the season.  But, it was still pretty busy!  One of the highlights was seeing Berkley perform in the Ballet West Nutcracker.  She did a wonderful job and we were so proud of her.

They won't let you take pictures of them
in their costumes, so we took these out in
the foyer after the performace.  But the
lighting made them turn out a little yellow.

Berkley is turning into such a beautiful, talented young woman
and she's just as sweet as she is beautiful!

Asher loved Christmas this year.
He wanted to open one present at a time
and play with it for awhile, so it took
him some time to get through all his gifts.

All the grandkids (except Ethan) and nephews and neices!
We missed Ethan, but he came the next day.

Chloe and Bryn in their new outfits

These two seriously love each other

They both got Zoobles from us and played with
them for hours on end!

So glad Mom could spend the day with us even
though we wore her out!

~Watching a helicopter spin around before takeoff~
We were lucky enough to spend Christmas and then New Years together.  We had quite the spread of food including a cheese and chocolate fondue.  Yummy!

Had fun playing Apples to Apples
Such a great game for all ages!

So we went home at 11 that night and found out the next day that Chelsey's family stayed and had a sleepover - so they decided to continue the celebration into the next day and had us come back up for more games, food, and festivities!

I think everyone would agree this was a great way to start out the New Year.  Looking forward to a brand new year which you always hope will be better than the previous year.  My New Year's Resolution is to not dwell on the adversity that comes into our lives, but to focus on all the blessings and abundance we enjoy each day, in other words,
 AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE!!!
I'm so grateful for my family - and for all
the wonderful times we spend together!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
