Spence Saga
Grandma Karen & Grandpa Ron...
Few can bring the warmth... we can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love, than the smile on their face.

They've a supply of precious stories, yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh, they grow more precious through the years.

I believe that God sent us Grandparents as our legacy from above,
to share the moments of our life, as extra measures of His love.

I Love Mother's Day!

I know we need to appreciate
our mothers each and every day,
but it's nice to have that one
special day to show our love
and appreciation to them.
 I'm especially grateful that my
mother is still with us to celebrate
 this very important day with!

Just love my Mom - such a sweet lady who has always been there for us.

Spring Break 2012

Yay! I thought I'd lost my camera with all these
cute pictures of Spring Break with Julie's family
and Jeremy and Asher.  But I finally
found it so it's time to blog again
 after a 5 month hiatus!

It's becoming a tradition to spend spring break
at Las Palmas in St. George.
Julie's kids were in their glory because
all their friends go there too.
So all they have to do is walk
out their door and have instant
friends at their fingertips.
Doesn't get better than that.

And there are so many activities to do,
also at your fingertips, it's hard to decide
between swimming, basketball, miniature
golf, playground, tennis, night games
on the lawn etc.

Asher loved riding on the path with his scooter!

Mason is always so happy!

The weather was great for swimming.

Mason and Asher playing Angry Birds - great buds!

Bryn had so much fun too - we all had to be careful about too much sun

Ready, get set, go!
Geronimo!

Jeremy has so much fun with Asher - love watching these two together

Berkley with her friend Taylor with Grandpa in the background

Bryn with her gal pals!
Romney fell in love with Asher and was by his side all the time!

Everyone had so much fun. The kids said this was one of their funnest vacations ever!
We're so thankful to Joe and Julie for letting us share their
condo with them and creating such a fun family experience.

So Easy Even a Three Year Old Can Make these Yummy Treats

Chelsey told me about this recipe
so I let Asher and Ethan make them.
They're so easy and they had so much
fun making them.  You place waffle
pretzels on a cookie sheet, place a
candy kiss (any flavor) on top of
pretzel, broil until chocolate melts
(watch carefully so it doesn't burn) and
sprinkle candy sprinkles on top while
chocolate is still wet. Let cool & Enjoy!!!

Asher was very meticulous with his

Had to sample some of the chocolate

Into the oven

Hmmm....which one to sample

Asher's favorite shirt
Orange & Cars 2
Doesn't get better than that!

Celebrated Thanksgiving Twice

It's one thing to have one Thanksgiving Dinner
at your house, but we actually had two this year.
We had 20 people from my
side of the family on Thanksgiving.
Ron's family came a week later
and we celebrated it a second time
with 10 people and 4 dogs!
So I'm doubly thankful this year for the
blessing of family!

I checked to see what Bryn and Chloe were up to
and they were in the tub playing with all their
little critters.

~They even arranged them in the blinds~

Now for the 2nd Group!
We did another full on turkey dinner
with all the trimmings!
Definitely diet time!

Went to Berkley and Bryn's recital
Berkley is doing a solo dance - so brave!
She did a beautiful job!

Bryn loves to dance too - following
in her big sister's footsteps

It's been a few years since we've all been together
with Ron's family.
We packed so much in in such a short time.
We went to the Festival of the Trees,
movies - Breaking Dawn and Hugo,
the girl's Dance Recital and Christmas Boutique.
Plus lots of eating and visiting and listening
to Christmas music
football games and did I mention eating!!!
Nothing is better than family getting together!
Great way to start off
the holiday season!
