Happy Snowy Easter

The poor kids really got jipped this year for Spring Break.

Instead of beautiful spring weather, we kept waking up to

snow, snow, and more snow. What's up with that?!!?

We made the best of it though and watched lots of movies

and played lots of games. Grandma and Grandpa

even had a sleepover at the Pia house and helped

the Easter Bunny hide eggs.

What's even sadder is we had a ski trip planned to our cabin,

but we found out the ski resort had closed for the season -

not due to lack of snow (there's plenty of the white stuff),

but lack of people, so we stayed here and saw

Clash of the Titans instead and celebrated Easter in the snow!

Julie heard a cute idea of having yarn go from the

kid's bedroom doors and wind all around the

house to their Easter baskets. So the kids woke

up to a maze of yarn that led them to their

baskets and presents from us. This may become

a new Easter tradition!

Bryn was the official dog walker. She would

ride her Barbie Bike down the street holding

on to Baxter's leash. He loves to go on walks

and didn't seem to mind this new way of walking!

The girls put on a show for us with Bryn

doing all sorts of aerial tricks for us. These

two have so much fun together and get

along really well.

Maybe one of these days Spring will actually come. We'll

definitely appreciate it after all the snow we've had.

Oh well, we'll have plenty of water for our yards this summer!
