As we spent a few days getting our cabin
ready for the Home Show,
we couldn't help but notice all the nice
added touches. Some are our efforts and
others are gifts and help from other people.
on the swing Kim & Steve
gave Ron for his 60th B. Day
except the laundry area - no window.
So we took our door to a place that installs
windows in them and now there's light
Carol (Joe's Mom) bought this darling nightlight for us. We love how the fire
flickers in the window - so cute!
We noticed a lot of birddroppings on our deck, so we
placed this owl here and it
really seems to help.
The only problem is
in the wind, his head spins,
so we call it our Exorcist Owl.
This is a beautiful blanket from PendletonWoolen Mills that Don & Noel bought us.
We love it and it looks so cabiny.
Another beautiful blanket that Kim & Steve brought back from
their excursion to Jackson Hole.
New pine tree we planted. The wildflowerseed is starting to sprout. Be glad when
everything grows so we don't look at
dirt anymore.
Front yard view of our landscaping and rock path. We're so grateful to Chan and his buddies, Kim & Steve
and Grandpa for helping with the landscaping. We
couldn't have done it without them.
We're so grateful to all those who had a hand
in making our cabin more homey & enjoyable.
It's truly been a labor of love!

It looks great. I hope the home show goes okay and that their are no problems. We head up tomorrow to the cabin and I can't wait. Except I will have three weeks of growth on the lawn to mow.
